چکیده
Abstract The most important things needed in aquaculture are good quality and quantity of water resources. residue from the use pellets as additives results excretion aquatic biota will produce liquid waste characteristics with high nutrient organic matter content. One efforts to treat wastewater is using floating treatment wetlands (FTWs). This study aimed analyze changes nutrients concentrations removal efficiency Vetiveria zizanioides Heliconia psittacorum a sewage system FTWs by grouping parameters observational variables whose linear correlations line become one main component PCA (Principal Component Analysis). research was conducted on laboratory scale tarpaulin ponds batch system, source catfish 12 variations namely plant type, surface area, pond depth, observed for 30 days. Parameters monitored include total nitrogen (TN), phosphorus (TP), nitrate (NO 3 − ), nitrite 2 ammonia (NH 4 + orthophosphate (PO 3- chemical oxygen demand (COD), situ measurement such dissolved (DO), pH, temperature, conductivity. At end experiment, it seen that 7 ( , cover area 50%, depth 100 cm) effectively removed 75.35% TN 90.70% nitrate, 1 100%, TP 92.55%, 5 94.64% 97.93%. Almost all treatments tested can reduce COD concentrations, while phosphate showed fluctuation until experimental period. Based day 30, TN, TP, conductivity, phosphate, COD, temperature represent concentration compounds compared other parameters.

Floating treatment wetlands for domestic wastewater treatment.
Floating islands are a form of treatment wetland characterized by a mat of synthetic matrix at the water surface into which macrophytes can be planted and through which water passes. We evaluated two matrix materials for treating domestic wastewater, recycled plastic and recycled carpet fibers, for chemical oxygen demand (COD) and nitrogen removal. These materials were compared to pea gravel or...

Vetiveria zizanioides and Cyperus alternifolius were measured for their ability to decontaminate pig farm wastewater in 50_38.5_23 cm (L_W_H) plastic boxes. These plants were grown in pig farm wastewater with CODCr at 825 mg/L, BOD5 at 500 mg/L, NH3-N at 130 mg/L and TP 23 at mg/L, C. alternifolius and V. zizanioides could cut down those index to 64%, 68%, 20% and 18% respectively by hydraulic ...
متن کاملMunicipal wastewater treatment using constructed wetlands
The aim of the paper is to present alternative to conventional (i.e., the commonly used biological treatment plants) wastewater treatment systems, appropriate for small communities and settlements. These systems are the natural treatment systems. The emphasis here is given on constructed wetlands (CWs). First, advantages and disadvantages of these systems are presented compared to conventional ...
